A new ranking of NFL quarterbacks, more disrespect for Jared Goff. Out of the 32 projected starters entering this season, Pro Football Focus ranks Goff No. 16 -- one spot ahead of Kyler Murray. To which Karsch says, "Are you effing kidding me?"

Over the past two seasons, Goff is second in the NFL to Patrick Mahomes in completions and yards, tied for third in touchdowns behind Mahomes and Josh Allen and fifth in passer rating behind Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Tua Tagovailoa and Prock Purdy.

Even Pro Football Focus gave Goff the sixth highest passing grade last season, between Lamar Jackson and Matthew Stafford. But in its ranking, PFF placed Goff in "Tier 4: The Melting Pot of Starters" -- nine spots behind Stafford and 14 spots behind Jackson:

For as much as Goff was already an efficient, in-structure quarterback, he took that to an even higher level last season. ... Unfortunately, Goff's play under pressure and outside of structure continues to leave a lot to be desired when compared to other top NFL quarterbacks.

Khang weighs in to say, "Jared Goff just doesn’t get any respect. The things he’s done here, the numbers he’s put up, it's like, whatever. Put anyone else’s name behind those numbers and they get more respect."

And ironically, Goff "has one of the things that I think typically earns you more respect than you deserve," says Karsch, "and that’s where you were drafted. He was drafted 1-1, and people typically go, ‘The 1-1 guy is really talented.’ For some reason, this is happening with Goff again."

Karsch also takes exception to Jordan Love being ranked No. 11: "Should we maybe just tap the brakes a bit on Jordan Love? Maybe just a bit. He’s five spots ahead of Jared Goff. Five!? I agree he had a good year, impressed the hell out of me, which scares me. But are we getting a little carried away? Has he become the ‘It’ quarterback?"

Gator objects to Stafford, who lost to Goff and the Lions in the playoffs, coming in at No. 7: "Matthew Stafford is not the quarterback today that he was three, four years ago. He’s not as good. But now they herald him as this awesome quarterback, top 10 quarterback in the league? Why is he still in this category in his mid-30’s? I don’t get it."
