I almost didn't pass high-school either because of the Math Test. I had taken Algebra my freshman year and then after that I did liberal arts.When it came time to take the math I couldn't remember anything I had learned because I was doing what I like to call real World Math courses. I had to take the test 3 times before I passed. I also had a 3.0 GPA. I have always said that the state Test should not be able to stop someone from graduating.

We had to take the fact in high school every year to see what we needed to improve on, and one year we had no power and were on the floor in the hallway (emergency lights) I Christmas treed the test and passed with a very high score...these tests are not reliable. I will fight the school board in my county if they say my grandsons can't get what they earned . My one grandson received 8 awards and has been on the AB honor roll every year that is what counts it shows he knows the information....Florida sucks when it comes to education
