Where are these Rangers.. have you seen the conditions of our parks that are overrun with homeless and drugs... it's too dangerous to be at them, and enjoy them, yet we still have to pay for them, and these wages for Rangers that you don't see too often.

Buena Vista Recreation is now an all night party spot when the 10pm quiet time used to be enforced. The county needs to finally lock the gates at quiet time and stop the traffic from coming in. As to Kern River Campground, it has long needed a gated entry, and now with no ranger support, and the long term camp host retirement, it too will go downhill if something is not done to preserve it’s beautiful state and popular status with visitors from countries all over the world. It is a hidden gem. Please preserve our natural beauty and places such as these areas, like the lake and campgrounds by the river, for families to enjoy for generations to come. Put up a gate, enforce the speed limit for the safety of the kids camping and fishing and hiking in the area. Train the rangers not just in the law but in appropriate behavior around people and how to be a community servant. Use Ranger John as an example. Ask who he is. Everyone knows him. Wonderful man. Works with the homeless sweetly.
