High school counselors are still helping new grads navigate FAFSA applications

My last 3 grads in a row had the worse counselors. Not one time did they return calls or emails to set up meeting times to discuss options. This is so important especially if your the first in your family with plans for college or trade school. Ive known people who wanted post secondary education but were so intimidated by the financial aid/ scholarship process that some never tried to navigate or apply! Some were rejected and didnt reapply, or had parents who wouldnt give financial info because they thought they would be responsible for loans or just didnt understand the process.
