Congratulations Texas, you've cheated your way to the top.

According to a new study, residents of the Lone Star State are the least faithful in the nation. Three Texas cities in particular have more spouses looking for sex outside of their marriage than residents of any other American city.

Texas Two-Timing Two Step

The dating advice site My Dating Advisor calculated what it dubbed the “Infidelity Index” for 200 major U.S. cities for its analysis using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as other tidbits of information such as the volume of Google searches for affair hookup websites.

The study also factored each city’s “relationship satisfaction” by taking into account marriage, divorce, and separation rates. The results: Texas not only took the first three spots; it leads the nation in cheaters per capita.

Conversely, two Texas border cities were among the 10 Most Faithful Cities in the nation. Laredo was the 5th most loyal, and McAllen - the second most populous city in the Rio Grande Valley - was #9.
