The first episode of season 5 of The Kardashians was filmed at Paris Fashion Week which took place from September 25, 2023 to October 3, 2023. During the same time, Timothée accompanied the Sprinter founder at Rosalía’s 31st birthday bash.

The Dune actor also didn’t appear in season 4 of the Hulu series. Producer Ben Winston said that they’re keeping Timothée’s involvement under wraps. “No comment,” Winston said to Variety . “Nothing I can say can bring me good things on that. If I say I hope to, then suddenly that’s a headline, and suddenly I don’t get any access. I can’t win on that. So I can just say that we haven’t filmed anything.”

The week before the premiere, fans were speculating about the Call Me By Your Name actor’s role in The Kardashians after a trailer was released. The Kardashian family donned very desert-like attire to promote a sneak peek of the new season. Many people thought that it alluded to Timothée’s blockbuster hit Dune, with fans commenting “Kylie in her Dune era…” and “It’s giving Dune?”

Kylie and Timothée made their first official event together when they attended WSJ Magazine ‘s Innovators Award in New York City on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
