Gov. Hochul signs Suffolk Water Quality Restoration Act into law

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the Suffolk Water Quality Restoration Act into law on Thursday.

It would expand and upgrade the county's sewer and septic systems.

The law would also see Suffolk County's sales tax increase an eighth of a percent to help pay for the project.

It will now be up to the Suffolk County Legislature to decide if the law will be put up for a vote in November.

I would love to know where the money for this project is going to come from, When you force people to buy expensive electric cars, And then she wants ocean wind farms also, Everything has a cause and effect, Obviously if she looked more into the infrastructure she would be surprised. That’s why these democrats find out the hard way.
