    6 Long Island boating spots are tops in NY

    It’s no surprise to Long Islanders that the region offers some of the state’s top boating locations.

    But a new report from Getmyboat, a platform for boat charters and rentals, issued a new report based on data from its and operators in New York.

    While Manhattan was ranked tops, Sag Harbor came in second. The average hourly rate is $898, with the average trip price at $2,950, with sailing yachts as the most popular style of boat.

    Bay Shore was ranked fourth, with the average hourly rate at $352, and the average trip price $1,407, and yachts the most popular style of boat.

    Oyster Bay was ranked fifth, with the average hourly rate $223, and the average trip price $863, and yachts the most popular.

    Port Washington was ranked sixth, with the average hourly rate at $427, and the average trip price $1,977, and yachts the most popular.

    Coming in ninth is Montauk, with the average hourly rate at $1,231, the average trip price at $4,923, and yachts the most popular boat.

    Hampton Bays was ranked tenth, with the average hourly rate at $669, the average trip price at $1,841, and yachts the most popular style of boat.
