    Inked: Recent LI real estate deals

    9 Glen Head Road, Glen Head

    Lawton Academy of Performing Arts leased a 2,568-square-foot building at 9 Glen Head Road in Glen Head. Dawn Costello of Douglas Elliman Real Estate represented the tenant, while Giuseppe Gregorio of NY Space Finders represented the landlord, Fischetti Landscaping Inc., in the lease transaction.

     

    490 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge

    GNP Brand Gear, which designs and markets eco-friendly products from recycled materials, leased 1,717 square feet of office space at 490 Wheller Road in Hauppauge. Airwaves Global Logistics, an air freight forwarding company, leased 1,100 square feet of office space at the same address. Robert Raffa of Island Associates represented the tenants, as well as the landlord, 490 Wheeler Road Associates LLC, in the lease transactions.

     

    301 Henry St., Lindenhurst

    Natural Foods Inc., a growing wholesale dairy distributor, leased 40,000 square feet of industrial space at 301 Henry St. in Lindenhurst. The company is in the midst of redeveloping a 67,307-square-foot industrial building on 2.3 acres at 159 Hanse Ave. in Freeport and needed extra storage space. Established in 2004, Natural Foods distributes organic, natural and dairy products to more than 900 stores in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Gary Chimeri and Luciano Oliverio of Paramount Properties Group represented the tenant, as well as the landlord, Kiyan Hassan, LLC, in the Lindenhurst lease transaction.

     

    385 Fort Salonga Road, Northport

    Commack-based TJ Realty Investment Group purchased a 3,162-square-foot mixed-use building on .24 acres at 385 Fort Salonga Road in Northport for $700,000. The building is occupied by a woodworking shop and an electrical contractor, and there is a two-bedroom apartment upstairs. The buyer plans to renovate the building. Matt Eberhardt of Select Real Equity Advisors represented the buyer, while Lisa Testagrose of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the seller, The Cross Family Trust, in the sales transaction.

     

    25 North Sea Road, Southampton

    Speed Electric Corp. of Southampton, a local electrical contractor, purchased a 2,300-square-foot building on .11 acres at 25 North Sea Road in Southampton for $995,000. The building, which was built in 1984 and renovated in 2016, was formerly occupied by a furniture retailer. Speed Electric plans to use the property as an office and showroom, according to a broker on the deal. JB D’Santos of Brown Harris Stevens represented the buyer, while Neil Crawford of NAI Long Island represented the seller, TD Bank N.A., in the sales transaction.
