I'm raising my two grandchildren... on my measley social security. My slumlord threatens me all the time saying he can get 3x the rent for this dump. If it happens, I have no idea where we'll be except out on the street. I can't afford anything now! I'm in a constant state of being terrified. I wish to God I was healthy enough to work... it's great that wages are so good for younger folks, but being older these days isn't how I always thought my life would end up.
