LOUISVILLE — The Toledo Mud Hens suffered a doubleheader sweep at the hands of Louisville as the Bats scored two walk-off wins on Friday at Louisville Slugger Field — 4-2 in the first game and 4-3 in the nightcap.

Toledo (26-23) took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning of the first game, but Louisville got a walk-off three-run homer from Austin Wynns off Mud Hens reliever Andrew Vasquez (3-1).

The Mud Hens trailed 1-0 after two innings after Hernan Perez reached on a fielding error by Bligh Madris that allowed Peyton Burdick to score.

But Parker Meadows hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth to tie the game, and the Mud Hens took the lead in the top of the sixth when Ryan Vilade launched a solo home run to left field.

In the second game, Meadows led off with a triple and scored on a Vilade sacrifice fly. In the top of the second inning, Justice Bigbie had an RBI groundout.

Burdick hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fourth, and P.J. Higgins walked with the bases loaded in the fifth to tie the score.

The game went to extra innings, and the Mud Hens scored a run in the eighth when Akil Baddoo hit a sacrifice fly.

But Edwin Rios doubled home Blake Dunn in the bottom half of the inning, and Erik Gonzalez made it two straight walk-offs with a sac fly to bring home Rios.

Toledo reliever Andrew Magno (0-3) took the loss.
