Sun City Republican club meets, hosts speakers

The Sun City Republican Club met May 21 at the Sundial Recreation Center and hosted several speakers.

Don Hiatt and Justin Heap, candidates for Maricopa County recorder, spoke about their desires to bring voter integrity to the forefront in elections. Hiatt’s expertise is in information technology and Heap’s background is in the law and legislature.

Nathan Duell, with Heritage Action, a state arm of the Heritage Foundation, spoke about connecting voters with Washington DC.

Jeena Raines, West Maricopa director for MAGA, spoke about volunteering.

The club next meets June 18 with speakers Ben Toma, Congressional District 8 candidate, Mike Crawford, Maricopa County sheriff candidate, Maricopa County treasurer candidates John Allen and William Lichtsinn, and Eric Hayes, with Turning Point.

The gathering, also at the Sundial Recreation Center, East Hall, begins with social time at 6 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. All RCSC cardholders are welcome and their guests.
