For anybody advocating these BESS systems, they are building one right next to a gas station on Nelson Ave, what could possibly go wrong, this is literally some of the dumbest most dangerous crap I have ever seen this city do , the government should be ashamed of itself and people should really educate themselves before commenting about technology they know nothing about. By the way, why couldn’t they put a thousand of these things in the garbage dump so it is no where near civilians, because they don’t give a damn about you, wake up. I know from experience that these batteries are imperfect technology and are impossible to put out.

the key is to give every residence its own smaller bank and network them so if one fails the grid can reroute and carry on
