WNBA Fans Demand Serious Punishment for Alyssa Thomas After Brutal Foul on Angel Reese

During Saturday night's matchup between the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun, Connecticut forward Alyssa Thomas was ejected after committing a Flagrant 2 foul on Sky rookie Angel Reese.

The WNBA veteran grabbed Reese by the throat and threw her to the hardwood while going after a rebound.

Reese went crashing to the floor and hit the back of her head on the court.

WNBA fans are calling for some serious punishment against Thomas on top of her ejection from Saturday night's game.

"I am incredibly disappointed in Alyssa Thomas. This deserves a suspension, multiple games even," one wrote.

"Throw a suspension on top of it. Disgusting stuff from Alyssa Thomas," another said.

"Alyssa Thomas needs to be suspended for 5 games and be fined $10,000 for what she did to Angel Reese," another added.

"Alyssa Thomas needs to be suspended from the league!!!! She’s sooooo mad that the PEOPLE are tuned into ANGEL REESE and not her 1 arm free throw!!!! STOP HATING!!!!!!" another wrote.

Fortunately, Reese was not injured and finished out the game.
