    Corn, wheat crop prices climb in Virginia

    Virginia Market News Service reported the following weekly ag trends on May 17:

    In Virginia, state graded feeder cattle mostly 2.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder cattle at regular auction sales uneven, with steers trending 11.00 to 20.00 higher and heifers 3.00 to 8.00 lower. Slaughter cows mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Wheat new crop .10 to .25 higher. Corn steady to .14 higher, new crop .02 higher. Soybeans mostly .07 higher, new crop .02 lower.
