American Legion

The American Legion (Jessup — Reed) Post #210 of Mount Pleasant meets the third Tuesday of each month at Herschel’s Restaurant in Mount Pleasant starting at 7 p.m. Come early for food and fellowship. All veterans are welcome.

NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet

The Northeast Texas Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will host its 28th Hunting Heritage Banquet Saturday, June 8, 2024 at The Retreat at Sugarhill at 6:00 pm. This event will feature all you can eat catfish meal, live and silent auctions, raffles, games, and more. Items at the banquet will include: guns (shotguns, rifles, and pistols), shooting accessories, knives, wildlife art and specialty items. Proceeds from this event support wildlife conservation and management programs in Texas and the two NWTF Initiatives: Healthy Habitats - Healthy Harvests and Habitat for the Hatch. Murder Mystery

Conservative Republicans of Northeast Texas Presents: A Murder Mystery! Saturday, July 6, 6:00 PM, RSVP required. Character roles will be assigned in June. You could be the victim, the murderer or an innocent by-stander. The location is the ‘Season’s’venue in downtown Mt. Pleasant, which will look like a wine cellar that night.
