For now, it’s going ahead as planned, but a source told The New York Post that the deal might fall through. “MGM is watching her not doing well on the road. They are very nervous ,” a source close to the situation said. “It’s pretty rare you have a poor tour and then go to Vegas.”

J-Lo was on track to earn $1 million per show for 90 dates in 2025, but “casino executives have lately grown skittish over abysmal ticket sales for her first tour in five years following the release of her This is Me … Now album in February,” the outlet reported.

Variety previously reported that several dates in her North American tour had been canceled due to poor ticket sales—Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, and Houston disappeared from Ticketmaster’s offering sometime in March 2024. At the same time, three shows were added to the itinerary—in Miami, Toronto, and her hometown of New York—a week after the tour was originally announced.

It was initially called the This Is Me…Now tour after Lopez’s latest album, in which she sang about her journey to a rekindled love with Affleck, but as of April, it was rebranded to This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits. “The latest rebrand suggests a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album’s songs to one spanning her discography, a move that may entice listeners who didn’t connect with her latest material,” Variety observed.

When J-Lo appeared in Mexico City with her co-star Simu Liu to promote their new Netflix film Atlas , a reporter asked “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors?” in Spanish in a video clip. “What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?”

Amid a chorus of sighs and before J-Lo could put in her two cents, her co-star Simu Liu said, “OK, we’re not doing that,” adding: “C’mon, don’t come in with that energy, please.” Jennifer then looks directly at the reporter and says, “You know better than that.”

The cast of Atlas didn’t respond to the question, but Simu took a moment to applaud J-Lo’s accomplishments in the movie. “If I can just end on one thing,” Simu told the press at the junket. “Jen is a producer on this movie and the reason why I am here and the reason Sterling is in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares. Jen cares about things like representation and diversity. Jen is a boss.”
