Koe Wetzel's Billboard Hot 100 Debut with "Sweet Dreams"

Koe Wetzel has officially made his mark on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as his new single "Sweet Dreams" debuts at No. 47 on the June 1 chart.

The song was released on May 17 through YellaBush/Columbia Records and garnered 10.9 million official streams and 3,000 downloads sold in the U.S. during the week ending May 23.

This achievement is especially notable as it marks Wetzel's first-ever entry on the Billboard Hot 100.

Prior to this, the country-rocker had charted on the Hot Country Songs chart, where "Sweet Dreams" debuts at No. 11, becoming his seventh entry and first top 20 hit on that chart.

Looking at Wetzel's Hot Country Songs history, his previous peak position was No. 24 with the track "Wasted" (a collaboration with Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley featuring Kodak Black).

Other notable entries include "Creeps" (No. 28), "Damn Near Normal" (No. 29), "Cabo" (No. 29), "April Showers" (No. 36), and "Money Spent" (No. 45).

In addition to his country chart success, Wetzel has also logged eight entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, including a recent climb for "Damn Near Normal" from No. 22 to No. 21. This demonstrates his ability to transcend genre boundaries and appeal to a wide range of music fans.

Wetzel first appeared on Billboard's charts in July 2019, debuting at No. 9 on the Emerging Artists list. This was fueled by the release of his LP "Harold Saul High," which also reached the top 10 on the Top Country Albums chart and the Billboard 200. He has since charted two additional albums, "Sellout" and "Hell Paso," further solidifying his growing popularity.

With the release of "9 Lives" scheduled for July 19 and his ongoing "Damn Near Normal World Tour," Koe Wetzel's Billboard Hot 100 debut with "Sweet Dreams" marks an exciting milestone in his rapidly ascending career.
