    Valle Nevado Announces Early Opening with 4 Feet of Snow

    Following last week's massive snowstorm, Valle Nevado, South America’s premier ski resort, is thrilled to announce the resort will open three weeks ahead of schedule on Friday, May 31 with 4 feet of snow.

Our team has been working hard to get ready for the upcoming season, and with 4 feet of early season snow, we are off to a great start," said Valle Nevado General Manager, Ricardo Margulis. "We are excited to welcome North American skiers and snowboarders to experience endless winter in the Chilean Andes this summer with the best snow in the Southern Hemisphere."

    Valle Nevado, or "snowy valley" in Spanish, is renowned for having the deepest and most consistent snowpack in the Southern Hemisphere. Lifts will operate from 9 am to 5pm, followed by Valle's legendary sunsets and après scene. Ikon Pass, Mountain Collective and Power Pass season passholders can take advantage of exclusive packages that include lodging in one of the resort's three ski-in/ski-out hotels, lift tickets, breakfast, and dinner, on sale now.
