The Fuller House and Big Shot star will recur during Season 2 of the Hulu series as Murphy, “a best-selling author and self-proclaimed ‘family radical healing coach,'” reads the official character description. “Murphy is a half-guru/half-reality star, cut to the chase type therapist who believes in telling people straight up what’s wrong with them.”

Stamos joins previously announced guest stars Oliver Hudson ( The Cleaning Lady ), Jamie Chung ( The Gifted ) and Brandee Evans ( P-Valley ).

Starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo, UnPrisoned Season 2 premieres with all eight episodes on Wednesday, July 17.

* Netflix has ordered the adult animated comedy The Undervale , created by Matt Roller ( Archer , Rick & Morty) and executive-produced by Chris McKenna ( Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Far From Home ), Dan Harmon ( Rick & Morty, Community ), Steve Levy ( Rick & Morty, Community ) and Roller. In the series, “a single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.”

* Prime Video’s upcoming YA series We Were Liars has cast Emily Alyn Lind (Max’s Gossip Girl ), Shubham Maheshwari, Esther MacGregor ( High School ) and Joseph Zada as the titular liars.

* Masterpiece on PBS has released a trailer for Moonflower Murders , which takes place after the events of Magpie Murders and stars Lesley Manville and Tim McMullan. The series premieres Sunday, Sept. 15 at 9/8c:
