Blake Lively goes pantless under just a string of pearls in pics on set of A Simple Favor 2 in Rome

Blake Lively wore a bold and beautiful display while filming A Simple Favor 2.

The actress was spotted on set in Rome with a dazzling and unique dress which showed off her glowing skin. The inner layer of the dress was a white, form-fitting body suit, cut with a bustier top and cheeky bottoms. On top of the risque garment, the dress had a layer of white netting-like pearls strung together.

By nature, the glimmering top layer allowed for most of her body to be front and center. Plus, it had a crafty slit up the back of the dress, exposing her calves even more. The star wore her long hair down, cascading in waves down her back.

Keeping with the plain color scheme, Blake wore a pair of silver, sparkly heels as she tread across a cobblestone street. To accessorize, the star wore a wrist full of mixed metal bracelets and what appeared to be a wedding band. Blake added a few more rings to the other hand for an added dash of shine. She carried a campaign flute with her across set.

She didn't come all glammed up to the set, though. In fact, while arriving, she hid the standout dress, wrapping a loose robe over top of the look. She gathered the skirt of the dress in one hand to keep it from snagging or dragging anywhere. Potentially coming to film straight from hair and makeup, Blake's hair was rolled up in hair ties and clips ahead of the movie magic moment where it was unraveled to show those elegant waves.

Blake was seen in good spirits as she sat by a fountain, chatting with another person on set before the crew wrapped her back up in her robe. As for what might have been going on in those moments, it's hard to say. However, Blake is starring as Emily Nelson in the movie which likely makes her the center of attention in the scene.

"Follows Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson as they head to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily's extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman," explained the movie's description on IMDb. Perhaps this white dress is for her big day or, given the wealth exuding from her love interest, it could just be a stand-in for the bridal festivities.
