Kelsey Plum is Trending After Darren Waller's Music Video Release

Back in April, WNBA superstar Kelsey Plum and NFL tight end Darren Waller announced their divorce after one year of marriage.

Plum immediately dove into her 2024 season with the Las Vegas Aces, but Waller got to work on another project.

On Thursday, the New York Giants tight end released a song about his divorce with Plum. The song, titled Who Knew (Her Perspective) , was accompanied by a music video featuring a woman who was clearly meant to resemble Plum.

Plum is trending on social media after this release.

"Kelsey Plum teammates right now in the locker room," one fan wrote.

"Kelsey Plum listening to Darren Waller’s song," another said.

"Funny part is that Kelsey Plum and her teammates are 1000% laughing at this in the locker room lol," another added.

Plum and the defending-champion Aces are 4-1 to start the 2024 WNBA season. Plum is averaging 18.6 points and 5.6 assists per game through her first five contests of the year.

Waller has not reported to Giants OTAs and is still weighing his NFL future.

"I’ve struggled with intimacy in romantic relationships my whole life, and I recognize the toll it has taken on the lovers I’ve been close to," Waller said of the song, via TMZ. "Essentially, I’m telling myself, from the damage I’ve done, that it’s imperative for me to heal the wounds in my life I’ve been avoiding by seeking relationships."

Plum and the Aces will face off against the Atlanta Dream on Friday night.
