SZA covers Eminem’s 'Lose Yourself' just for her own mental health

For a little dose of something you didn’t know you needed and will now be obsessed with, SZA shared a silky smooth cover of Eminem ’s “Lose Yourself.”

Putting her own SZA spin on the 2002 classic, the singer took to social to share her reimagined vibey rendition. “U ever just cover Eminem on some tender s*** for feels?” she captioned the post as a video played a clip of an mp3 track titled “Lose Yourself (Cover) (more verb+AT+EQ)” out of her Notes app. “Not on a project,” she clarified, “Just for mental health.”

Sorry to say, but as of now the cover isn’t available on streaming services, and it’s unclear if it ever will be. So for now we’ll just have to habitually refresh the post to keep the song on repeat. Check it out below.

And while we’re doing that, we’ll also be awaiting SZA’s next two promised releases, the deluxe version of her album SOS , and her new project Lana . Both of which have had no updates since she announced the separate projects in late March, after certain songs leaked.

As for Eminem , the rapper is gearing up for his return with The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) , with the album’s lead single, “Houdini,” officially out now.
