Here's When Joker: Folie A Deux Premieres

Joker: Folie A Deux will reportedly premiere at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.

The sequel to 2019’s Joker has almost completed post-production, and with everything wrapping up, there’s not much left to do now but show it off.

Few events are more prestigious than the Venice Film Festival, which this year runs Wed, 28 Aug 2024 – Sat, 7 Sept 2024.

The first film won The Golden Lion when it debuted in 2019, which is the highest prize given at the festival.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Joker: Folie A Deux will be a surefire hit - it’s a $200 million R-rated movie musical co-starring a pop icon better known for her music than her acting. What Warner Bros. and DC have shown off so far, though, has generated plenty of buzz.

Other films rumored to premier at the 2024 Venice Film Festival are Jon Watts’ Wolfs , Luca Guadagnino’s Queer , Ron Howard’s Eden , Mike Leigh’s Hard Truths , Walter Salles’ I’m Still Here , and Julian Schnabel’s In the Hands of Dante .
