    10 Festivals and Fairs Happening This Weekend

    Western Washington is chock full of fun things to do this weekend, all over the Puget Sound region. If you haven’t made plans, now’s the time.

    Saturday, June 1st

    Kent International Festival

    Fantastic food and dancers highlighting cultures around the world. With a fashion show and hands on activities.

    Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival

    This festival at the Seattle Center offers up dancing, music, culinary exhibits, films, art, crafts and food trucks.

    Arts Explosion

    Federal Way hosts an arts festival complete with juried art contest, activities for kids, music, and food trucks.

    Duvall Days

    This fantastic small town festival starts with a parade and ends with fireworks. In between are tons of activities, a beer garden and a street fair that takes over Main Street.

    All Weekend

    Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival

    Garden tours, paint & sip, wine & beer tasting, food, music, speakers, and workshops are highlights of this big festival.

    Maritime Gig Festival

    Head to Gig Harbor for a parade, children’s fair, car show, pancake breakfast, blessing of the fleet, and much more.

    Anacortes Waterfront Festival

    All the usual festival offerings, plus boat tours, wooden boat building, and a Corvette car show.

    Puget Sound Bird Fest

    All things related to birds and nature is happening in Edmonds.. The guided walks are not to be missed. There are also talks, exhibits and a native plant sale.

    Mason County Forest Festival

    Reminiscent of old time county fairs, this festival has all the fixings, plus a parade, a logging show, car show, fireworks, and a carnival.

    Fiber Fusion Northwest

    Held in Monroe at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, this is a fleece to fiber event much loved by fiber artists: knitters, weavers, spinners, crocheters, and more. Fiber animals will be displayed along with everything else fiber related.
