Selena Gomez Talks About Giving Back Via Her Rare Impact Fund

We love how Gomez, who has been very open about her mental health struggles over the years, also gives back via the Rare Impact Fund. It has reportedly raised $13M in aid of mental health services for underserved communities, and aims to raise $100M over ten years.

"At the beginning, when I first created Rare Beauty, I was not sure if I was going to be excited about doing something unless it incorporated giving back in some way," the "Lose You to Love Me" singer, pictured above in a striking Erdem dress, told TIME.

"So, before the make-up products even happened, I wanted the brand to be some sort of resource for people as well," she continued, adding: "Because, I feel like if I am here, I might as well do as much good as I can."

Selena Gomez Dishes On Her Relationship With Benny Blanco

Rare Beauty wasn't the only thing the Wizards of Waverly Place alum spoke to the magazine about, as she also had a lot to say about her boyfriend Benny Blanco.

Talking about some of the negative comments their relationship has received, Selena said: "I know what people can do to people I love. My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life. But he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him."

The "Love On" singer went on to talk about more positive things, including where she sees the relationship going in the future. "It's really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him," she gushed. "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that he's not going anywhere any time soon."
