As yet, ABC has made not a peep about reversing its decision to cancel Station 19 following what was arguably its strongest season. Neither, for that matter, has the network seized the opportunity to launch a Crisis One spinoff . But if the Grey’s Anatomy offshoot were to be offered a new lease on life, Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack — the showrunners who raised the drama to a new creative zenith — wouldn’t just be on board, they’d be “100%” on board, Paige tells TVLine.

    “Bring it on,” Clack adds.

If Thursday’s “One Last Time” episode ( recapped here ) really does turn out to be the dynamic duo’s last time working on Station 19 , at least their one-season tenure at the helm was a satisfying one. “I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Zoanne,” Paige says. “I’m really proud of what we accomplished creatively, and I’m really proud of what we did with the show culturally.

“The set was really healthy,” he goes on. “I think people felt seen and heard and felt an ownership. They felt a part of the show. That’s every bit as important as the product.”

Clack seconds that emotion. “We had a very powerful, amazing culture [on the set], and it was just a joy to work with these actors and writers and crew. We’re going to miss it terribly.”
