    Ingredients:

    • 1 pound ground beef (or Italian sausage)
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
    • 8 ounces dry pasta shells (cooked according to package directions)
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 2 large eggs, beaten
    • 1 (15-ounce) container cottage cheese
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
    2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
    3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened about 5 minutes.
    4. Stir in the marinara sauce and heat through.
    5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta shells, ricotta cheese, eggs, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    6. Spread half of the meat sauce mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the pasta mixture. Repeat layers with the remaining sauce and pasta mixture.
    7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

    Conclusion:

Let your Lasagna Casserole cool slightly before serving. Enjoy it with a side salad and garlic bread for a complete and satisfying meal. This recipe is a great way to please a crowd, and leftovers can be easily reheated for another night.

old school Italian & semi trained chef I make an incredible one. And I serve it with a beautiful salad & garlic bread. It just makes me smile remembering people that are now gone (including my late husband) that sat at my table.
