The Bold and the Beautiful 's Li is making herself an enemy for some fans who did not like the way she was handling Poppy's paternity situation .
Poppy shared with both Luna and Bill in last week's episodes that Bill may potentially be Luna's father after initially denying it. They all agreed on the same page that Bill should take a DNA test to confirm that information. But before that could be set up, Poppy interrupted their familial moment and accusingly told Poppy, "I know what you’re up to!"
Li learned that her sister Poppy was orchestrating a DNA test with Bill and Luna due to her conversation with Katie and RJ in Forrester’s design office. Katie asked RJ about what he knew about Poppy and if he was okay with Bill potentially being Luna's dad. Li did not mince any words when she warned both Katie and RJ against Poppy, calling her sister a gold digger.

Li goes in and explained why this paternity test is her business when Poppy declared it wasn't. She said that Bill is Kelly's grandfather and she's protective of Finn's family and Poppy tried to reassure her that there is no reason Finn's family needs to be protected from her.
She implied Poppy was a gold digger by asking Poppy why didn't she tell Bill originally the truth and that the reason was Bill is Poppy's "MO" since he's "rich, handsome [and] rich." Bill disagreed with Li and defended Poppy by saying, she's not like that and that's not their relationship. Li then replied to Bill that he doesn't know Poppy like she does or what she's capable of.
Then Li declared she will oversee the paternity test as a "licensed professional." Bill agreed for Li to administer the test. Poppy did not approve and was hurt her sister would accuse her being "so devious and underhanded." Luna ultiamtely agreed with Bill, not caring who does the test. She just wants to know the truth.
Fans were annoyed with Li and the way she was acting towards her sister over Bill potentially being Luna's father. Many were wondering why Li was so being so "nasty" to Poppy.
One fan wrote on X formerly known as Twitter: "Li is just plain evil, she needs to get a Life. Bill is a grown ass man that doesn't need her protection. She is just miserable and wants Poppy to be the same. she'd better go concentrate on Finn." A second fan said: "I don't like Li; she's always so harsh and nasty towards her sister." Another said: "I’m sorry but this whole vendetta Li has against Poppy is hella annoying." A fourth fan said: "Li is definitely changing those results to spite Poppy lol"
