Whizzbangers Ball, featuring Tyler Childers, to be held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve

GLEN JEAN, WV (WVNS) — If you are looking for a fun, jam-packed weekend filled with endless activities, all while enjoying the great outdoors, you might want to head over to Whizzbangers Ball.

Described as a music festival in nature’s playground, from June 14, 2024, to June 15, 2024, and a first for the Summit Bechtel Reserve, attendees can enjoy listening to live performances, camp under the stars, and engage in a ton of outdoor activities such as rock climbing, ziplining, archery, fishing, whitewater rafting, and other outdoor experiences.

Critically acclaimed country artist Tyler Childers will be closing out the event on Saturday night, June 15, 2024. Childers, along with other 14 talented artists from Whizzbang BAM! Family will be performing at the event, including Arlo McKinley, Brad Goodall, Joslyn & The Sweet Compression, William Matheny and Jeremy Short.

Ben Isenberg, the Event Director for Whizzbangers Ball shared why this event is so special to the community and what to expect.

“We really wanted to keep this, a low cost, kind of family focused, especially for the local community to enjoy this property. It really hasn’t been leveraged to a music or entertainment scale to this level,” said Isenberg.

Tickets for Whizzbangers Ball are available now and include access to the property, a camping space, parking, and access to the stadium for the live music performances. The Summit Bechtel Reserve also provides bathhouses, Wi-Fi, and other amenities for people camping.
