    Greenbrier County Schools set to invest $14 million in “green” renovations

    LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) — Greenbrier County School officials are set to make schools across the district more energy-efficient.

    Greenbrier County Schools Superintendent Jeff Bryant said on Monday, June 3, 2024, that Greenbrier East High School is just one facility which can expect green upgrades in the near future.

    New Goodwill location set to open in Beckley

    It is all part of $14 million investment which will likely modernize every school in the county.

    The superintendent said the upgrades are guaranteed to save the school half a million dollars annually and more than two million dollars for the project comes from the federal government.
