    Covenant parents brace for long haul on gun safety reform

    It's been over a year since Covenant School parents began advocating for gun safety reforms at the Tennessee Capitol.

    Though they've seen few victories, these parents aren't going anywhere. The urgency of addressing gun violence in Tennessee has not diminished since the shooting.

    “Advocacy has made me feel like I have some control, some power, over the future of my children,” Covenant parent Mary Joyce said.
