When one thinks of healthy food, McDonald’s is not one of the names that spring to mind. However, there are some healthy foods at McDonald’s . In this article, we are looking at the most unhealthy menu items at McDonald’s which will help you make a better choice when choosing which of your favorite foods to pick next time you are at your local outlet.
To determine the most unhealthy menu items at McDonald’s, MomsWhoThink.com reviewed data on nutrition for menu items from MenuStat , a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute . McDonald’s food menu items with at least 50 calories were ranked based on the ratio of combined saturated fat and sugar to calories.
