Stanly County Convention and Visitors Bureau names new director

The Stanly Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Stanly) Board of Directors has named Kasey Brooks as its new executive director.

As a native of Stanly County, Brooks comes to VisitStanly with her own personal business experience and marketing knowledge within the tourism and agri-tourism industry. She has worked with Charlotte Pipe and Foundry and with Brooks Mill Farms.

She received her degree in business administration at Western Carolina University and is a graduate of West Stanly High School. She and her husband Clint and their two young sons live in the western part of the county.

“I look forward to forming lasting relationships and working to grow the tourism industry for Stanly County,” Brooks said. “We’ll do our best to bring visitors to Stanly County to enjoy our beautiful vistas and amazing opportunities for adventure at our events and attractions.”
