On Tuesday, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reported that Chicago Bulls General Manager Marc Eversley signed a new three-year contract to remain in the Chicago Bulls' front office.

Mayberry stated in his report that, "Eversley, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation, recently signed a three-year contract that begins in July. Karnisovas in all likelihood will keep his right-hand man."

During the second half of the 2023-24 NBA regular season, Eversley's name circulated twice in NBA front office rumors as a candidate for the once-vacant Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations role and the recently-filled Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations role .

Eversley and Bulls Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Arturas Karnisovas are faced with a Bulls offseason full of critical roster decisions between the 2024 NBA Draft and free agency, notably on forward DeMar DeRozan's Bulls future .
