Nick Russell has added another remarkable snowboard descent to his illustrious career with PAPSURA - the "Peak of Evil" at 21,180 feet (6,400 meters) in Himachal Pradesh, India.

Nick Russell conquered this big feat on May 15th. It was the first ever snowboard descent of Papsura, also known as the Peak of Evil, a 6,000-meter monster in a remote corner of India, and it was the second descent of the peak ever.

Nick began his journey in snowboarding at Vermont's Stratton Mountain School, a training ground for top professional snowboarders like Danny Davis and the Mitrani brothers. Despite some success, Nick didn't find much inspiration in competitive snowboarding despite some success. It was his move to Utah after high school that ignited his passion for freeride snowboarding and mountaineering. Today, he is widely recognized as the world's first professional splitboard athlete. Unlike others who adapted to splitboarding, Russell primarily used the splitboard to earn significant sponsorships from Red Bull, Smartwool, and Patagonia. His splitboarding achievements include conquering peaks in the Eastern Sierras, Wyoming, the Andes, Denali, and several 20,000-plus-foot peaks in the Himalayas.
