A beautiful moment between two pigs who live at an animal sanctuary was captured on video, and it has warmed everyone's hearts.

In a compilation video posted by The Gentle Barn Sanctuary (@thegentlebarn), we meet a very kind pig who takes care of his own. Take a look!

The pig warming hearts is the first clip in the 2-plus minute-long video.

"Pig brings lunch to his brother who has trouble walking," the text on the screen reads.

In the clip, we see a big pig with mud in his pen. He picks up a bunch of hay and takes it to the barn enclosure, where another pig is hanging out. The sweet pig drops the hay in front of the other pig to make sure they can eat without having to cause pain to go and get it.

It's such a beautiful moment; we don't often see empathy in animals, and it's always heart-touching when we do.

The rest of the video features other clips of animals doing beautiful things . There's a blind ball hoping to find her favorite toy, which she treats as if it were her baby, cows breathing a sign of relief in their new home, and a new mama turkey as well.

The rest of the clip contains similar heart-touching moments with animals, and it's powerful enough to warm even the coldest of hearts.

"We don't deserve animals," the caption reads.

In the comments, people had so much to share after watching this video.

Pigs Are Very Emotional, Intelligent Animals

According to the Humane Society of the United States, pigs are very intelligent and emotional animals. There is a prevalent stereotype that tells people that pigs are dirty and not very smart, but steeds show differently.

"Study after study shows that pigs are intelligent, emotional beings," the site explains. "Some pigs have even learned how to play video games by manipulating a joystick with their snouts, with a tasty snack as a reward!"

The fact that they're in tune enough to play video games is a big deal. "This sort of study is important because, as with any sentient beings, how we interact with pigs and what we do to them impacts and matters to them," lead author Dr Candace Croney told BBC .

"Research shows that pigs are at least as intelligent as dogs, and in many cases even outperform dogs on tests of cognition, memory, and other measures of intelligence," New Roots Institute explains.

"For example, not only can pigs be taught how to fetch like dogs, they can also differentiate between objects, for example a ball vs. a frisbee. In fact, when it comes to problem-solving, pigs far outperform dogs."

Of course, all animals should be treated with respect, no matter how intelligent we perceive them to be. But, yes, we don't deserve animals.
