Three People Hospitalized Following Shootout on I-64 West

Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Three people are in the hospital following a shootout on Interstate 64 westbound that police say began with an altercation at a Henrico County restaurant.

Virginia State Police say the shooting happened on I-64 near the 192 mile marker at around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. There was reportedly an altercation that evening at a Henrico area LongHorn Steakhouse. Troopers say the altercation continued onto the Interstate once the involved parties had left.

State police said both vehicles shot at each other while driving on I-64 westbound. Three adult victims are now hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Virginia State Police continue to investigate.
