Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal accident on Pio Nono Circle

Maocn, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident that occurred on May 30, 2024. At 3:13 p.m., deputies responded to a call about an unresponsive male at a residence in the 3300 block of Pio Nono Circle.

Upon arrival, they found 54-year-old Lorenzo Veal unresponsive near the rear of the residence. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced Veal deceased at the scene.

Investigators believe Veal was riding his bicycle downhill when he fell from an embankment.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
