Bad Boys: Ride or Die Reviews Are Surprisingly High

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now the second-highest-scoring entry in the Bad Boys series.

Few expected much from the latest film in the long-running action franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, which kicked off with 1995’s Bad Boys . Its early reviews, however, are glowing.

Rotten Tomatoes currently has it scored at 71%, which is just 5% lower than the best-reviewed film in the series, 2020’s Bad Boys for Life , which got 76%. It’s also much higher than 2003’s Bad Boys 2 , which managed a woefully bad 24% aggregate score.

The fourth Bad Boys film follows Smith’s Mike Lowrey and Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett who, after being framed for murder, are plunged into a multi-level conspiracy. Together, the crime-fighting duo must clear their name.
