The older babies get, the more they start noticing about the world around them...and the more they start noticing, the more they want to experience things for themselves. Infants who have older siblings, for example, usually want to be involved in just about everything their big brothers or sisters are doing, whether it's playing with a particular toy, watching a certain show, or eating a favorite snack...and they can be pretty persistent about it!

In one hilarious video, a little boy is watching TV with his mother and baby brother. The mom and the boy are paying attention to the screen, but the baby's eyes are firmly on his big bro — or, to be more exact, on the potato chips his brother is eating. He can't talk yet, but the look on his face says it all!

"I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing," wrote @fatherandsonsfun . Baby brother does not appreciate being left out! He was ready to take matters into his own hands until mom stopped him. Commenters were highly amused by this hungry tot.

"He's like, you mean you don't notice me noticing you?" wrote AnnetPearl.

"It's fascinating how babies can recognize snacks immediately," wrote Hlela Dastile.

Babies definitely have snack radar! This little one is probably a bit young to be eating potato chips , but he'll no doubt get a taste soon enough. And that's okay: Experts say these kinds of snacks actually can have a place in your child's diet.

How 'Junk Food' Can Be a Part of Your Kid's Healthy Diet

As parents, we know that our kids should be eating mostly healthy, nutritious foods. But depriving kids of junk food entirely can backfire, which is why it's a good idea to teach children how to enjoy these snacks in moderation, according to Metro Family Magazine.

"Junk food and fast food are part of your child’s world. If you forbid all 'bad' food, she will find other ways to get it without telling you. This secretive behavior can damage your relationship with your child, and it can eventually lead to her being sneaky about other things. Secret eating and feelings of deprivation can also both be precursors to your child developing an eating disorder."

Some moms and dads try to stick to a rule of one "junk food" snack per day, whether it's a bowl of ice cream or a bag of chips, but every parent needs to find a balance that works for their family. It's all about instilling a positive attitude about food and teaching healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
