Doppler radar detected a series of strong thunderstorms at 5:51 PM CDT, stretching from Bluff Springs to Meridian Station and near Snell, moving northeast at a speed of 50 mph. These storms may bring wind gusts of up to 50 mph and pea-sized hail, which could lead to downed tree limbs and scattered debris. Minor damage to plants from hail is also possible. Affected areas include Livingston, York, Aliceville, and several other communities, as well as the University of West Alabama and surrounding landmarks. Residents should exercise caution.
