Kalani Faagata of ’90 Day Fiancé’ Welcomes Baby With ‘Hall Pass’ Dallas Nuez

The '90 Day Fiancé' alum also has two children with her ex-husband Asuelu Pulaa.

The 90 Day Fiancé family just got a little bit bigger. Kalani Faagata and her boyfriend Dallas Nuez have welcomed their first child together, she revealed in a surprise announcement on June 4.

“Meet our daughter,” the 90 Day alum captioned the Instagram post, which featured several photos of the adorable little one swaddled in a purple blanket. She also tagged Dallas in the announcement.

Kalani and Dallas have not shared their daughter’s name. She has two children from her previous marriage to Asuelu Pulaa, a boy named Kennedy, who was born in 2019, and a boy named Oliver, who was born in 2018.

The baby news came as a big shock to Kalani’s followers. The reality star hadn’t dropped any hints that she was expecting another child. Congratulations quickly rolled in from fans and fellow 90 Day cast members, including Tiffany Franco, David Toborowsky, Liz Woods, and Debbie Johnson.

“Congratulations, I didn’t know you were expecting. I’m so excited. A baby girl. She is beautiful,” wrote Debbie.

“Omg, congratulations,” Liz commented.

Dallas Nuez was Kalani Faagata’s ‘hall pass’

The unexpected baby news is more proof that Kalani, 35, has put her relationship with ex-husband Asuelu in her past.

Kalani and Asuelu made their 90 Day Fiancé debut in season 6, which premiered in 2018. The couple met while Kalani was on vacation in Samoa. She soon got pregnant, and they began the K-1 visa process so that he could move to the U.S. and they could be together as a family. Baby no. 2 soon followed, but the marriage came under serious strain due to financial pressures and family conflicts.

In 2022, Kalani and Asuelu appeared on season 1 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. They’d joined the show in a last-ditch effort to save their failing marriage. It emerged that Kalani and Asuelu’s core problem was his repeated infidelity. After his latest indiscretion, Asuelu has offered his wife a “hall pass,” giving her the chance to explore things with another man.

Kalani took advantage of her “hall pass” with Dallas. Her feelings for the new man in her life and her frustrations with her husband led her and Asuelu to split in The Last Resort season finale. She later confirmed she and Dallas were in a relationship. The couple celebrated their first anniversary in February 2023.

“Thank you for everything that you do, you’re my everything and I’m so grateful that we met,” Dallas wrote in an Instagram post celebrating his girlfriend.
