Sight Unseen Finale Launches New Mystery for Potential Season 2

Things got even more personal than usual in Wednesday’s season finale of Sight Unseen, during which Tess’ trusty visual assistant Sunny took on an unexpected new role — murder suspect.

Sunny, whose real name is Sunita Sharma, has apparently been a fugitive this whole time, one who stood accused of killing a man named Rigby Daniels several years prior. Now, Rigby and Sunny had a complicated relationship, to say the least. They were in love, but he was also her professor — her married professor. Messy? Yes. But motive for murder? Despite all of the evidence pointing directly at Sunny, Tess refused to believe she did the deed.

The more Tess and Sunny dug into this mystery, the thicker the plot became. The same man who allegedly witnessed Sunny leaving Rigby’s home covered in blood showed up to her apartment this week, and it wasn’t a social call. Fortunately, Sunny’s new boyfriend Kye was able to stall the guy long enough for Sunny to grab a gun and take him out.

But wait, the plot isn’t finished thickening: When Sunny discovered her attacker’s phone in her apartment, she only found one number on it — that of Bennett, the police superintendent! How the heck is he involved in all of this?

Unfortunately, that question — along with any others you may have — won’t be answered unless Sight Unseen , a co-production between The CW and Canadian broadcaster CTV, gets renewed for Season 2.
