    Congratulations to these Pick. Co. students

    Good luck and congratulations to Pickaway County’s high schools’ valedictorians, salutatorians and an honor graduate for the Class of 2024.

    Tigers’ valedictorian is Ty Foster, who is involved in varsity baseball, National Honor Society, and In the Know. He is also a student ambassador for the Circleville City Schools Foundation. Following graduation, Foster plans to attend Ohio University and pursue a degree in accounting.

    Tigers’ salutatorian is William Slater Search, who is vice president of his school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, historian for the National Art Honor Society, Robotics Team, Drug Free Club. As to sports, Search plays soccer, basketball, tennis, cross country, track, golf and was a star with the Midwest Basketball Amateur Athletic Union.

    Logan Elm High School’s valedictorian is Samuel Braun who will be attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. During high school, Braun played soccer, tennis, bowling, and did swim. He was also active in the chess club, drama club, and student union.

    Braves’ salutatorian is Carson Summers who is president of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, a student leader with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Union Vice President, Braves Against Drugs, Sports: football, basketball and baseball. He is an active member of 4-H — 4-H Market Hog Project. Summers plans to attend the Ohio State University to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

    Rather than having a valedictorian or salutatorian, Westfall High School has an Honor Graduate, and this year, the Honor Graduate is Leah Johnston. She is the daughter of Marti and Marty Johnston. During high school, Johnston participated in volleyball, basketball, track and field, and the National Honor Society, serving as NHS Historian. After graduation, Johnston plans to attend Miami University to study computer science with the goal of becoming a software developer.

    Teays Valley High School’s valedictorians are Molly Allen, Madison Barrick, Nicole Bennett, Karianna Brown, Elizabeth Bullock, Aaron Burch, Emma Caudill, Alexis Cupp, Isaac Diawara, Destiny Doan, Richard Gaal, Zachary Helenthal, Calli Henderson, Alyssa Horsley, Brooke Jacob, Baltazar Josue Boleto, Oliver Julian, Carolyn Kanoski, Owen Kennedy, Simon Lupfer, Eva Merritt, Ella Muschott, Harrison Payne, Sarah Polinski, Annalise Roberts, Ellie Shultheis, Thomas Sites, Gabrielle Watkins, Derek Yarnell and Allyson Zang.

    School only has valedictorians, no salutatorians.

    New Hope Christian Academy’s Class of 2024’s valedictorian is Karis Gremillion and the salutatorian is Thomas Scribner.

    Gremillion is played Volleyball and was active in National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

    Scribner played basketball, soccer, and he served Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society President, as well as being active in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Upward Soccer Coach, Heritage Nazarene Youth Group, Independent Study Art, Concert Band and being Nipgen Junior High Camp Counselor.
