Prince William Nearly Loses It at Platinum Party In Newly Resurfaced Video

Prince William 's got a great sense of humor—and one lucky fan captured one of his funniest moments on camera.
In the newly resurfaced clip from June 2022, Prince William prepares to address the crowd at the Platinum Jubilee Party at Buckingham Palace. When the noise from the crowd dies down, one fan sings, "We love you, William, we do." And as a result, the 41-year-old prince can't resist giggling and tries to contain his laughter.
The royal fan captioned her post, "Best night of my life," and it has since garnered over 250,000 views.
After the future monarch regains his composure in the candid video, he begins his speech , saying "It's wonderful to be here with you on this incredible night, and great to see Buckingham Palace turned into a giant I-Max screen. As I watch those extraordinary images, it does make me think of all the monumental and pioneering work of so many visionary environmentalists that have gone before."
For the occasion, Prince William was joined by King Charles , Queen Camilla , Kate Middleton , Prince George and Princess Charlotte. While Queen Elizabeth was absent due to ongoing mobility issues at the time, she tuned in virtually from Windsor Castle.

The star-studded event, which celebrated the late queen's historic 70-year reign, included performances by Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, Queen and Adam Lambert. Attendees also got to enjoy a fun, prerecorded sketch of the queen having some tea with Paddington Bear.
FYI, this isn't the first time we've seen Prince William burst into giggles in a public setting. Just last year, when he attended the Royal Variety Performance, he was actually crying with laughter when Tom Allen took the stage.
As seen in the above clip, the prince doubles over in laughter and claps while Allen jokes about online shopping. One fan responded, "It's the leg stomping for me." Another added, "Lovely to see Prince William in absolute hysterical laughter. He is going to be an amazing king one day."
We couldn't agree more.
