Frustrated, he decided to step in to stop his son from becoming the 'school punching bag'. He said on Reddit : "My son has been getting bullied for a week. He’s the tallest kid in his class because of his genetics. When he told me he was getting bullied I didn’t wait, I went to the school so we could fix something. My son is very nice to everyone, he doesn’t bother anyone and is a sweetheart."
After hearing about what had been happening in class, the dad called a meeting with the school principal and threatened to file a complaint if they refused to put an end to it. He added: "I’m the second parent that does a lot for this school. I have helped decorate parties and help the youth program but that’s enough.
"I did get to talk to the parents of the kid that was bullying my son, their son told my son to off himself so I will be making a complaint. I told them to teach their kid how to treat people because I wasn’t going to let someone bully my son to make him feel bad about himself.
"I don’t think they even discipline their kids because I’ve never seen them at parent conferences, they said they would try to talk to their kid. That’s when a few days later my son told me that one kid was still bullying him, I had enough because the school was not doing anything."
So, he decided to take matters into his own hands and came up with a plan to 'embarrass' his son's bully in front of his peers. He said: "I did have a few words for the boy when I picked my son up after school, I told the boy if he keeps bullying my son then his mom and I will have a problem because he is old enough to know bullying is not okay. Well, his mum and I already have a problem because she didn’t give her son the consequences.

"I could tell he was embarrassed after I said that because he was with his friends and they were joking about it. This kinda showed him what it’s like when someone talks down on you and embarrasses you." Commenting on his post, one user said: "If the only thing that comes out of this is your kid learning that you have his back, then it was worth it."
Another user added: "I have zero issues with other parents correcting my kid's behavior. Some things are just objectively wrong." A third user said: "The truth is this, teachers have zero control over bullying. They tell the administrators and it's up to them. That's all the power they have."
