DeCamara: 'Disastrous, disrespectful' Jalen Hurts comments show 'disconnect' with Nick Sirianni

Jalen Hurts didn’t give much of an answer when asked about Nick Sirianni’s openness to change his coaching style, and gave nothing further when asked a follow-up about any changes that he’s seen in his head coach this offseason.

Joe DeCamara thought it was a “softball” question that could have easily been answered, but Hurts seemingly chose not to throw his coach a bone.

“Just a disastrous answer. That’s a disastrous answer,” Joe said. “It obviously speaks to a disconnect between the coach and quarterback…there’s probably nothing more important in sports than connection between coach and quarterback. So it’s disastrous on that front.

“I also think it’s disrespectful…totally disrespectful by Jalen to go there.”

Joe believes the disconnect is clear, and if Hurts isn’t careful, he could find himself out of Philly after this season.

“If I was Jalen’s agent, I would say ‘Listen big guy, you have a chance to make a lot of money for a lot of years with this team,’” Joe said. “’But they can zip you out of here after this season, and if you don’t get on board, they might.’”
