Maine Coon Cat Snuggles Sister and People Are Amazed His Face Is As Big As Hers

A cat can totally be a girl's best friend, especially if they grow up together. Boy cats in particular are thought to be the sweetest, and girls who have boy cats can attest to the fact that it's a match made in heaven.

It's no surprise, then, that on Wednesday, June 5th one big boy Maine Coon was having fun snuggling his baby sister. It was sweet as could be, which helped its case, but the biggest thing everyone was noticing: his face is just as big as hers is! You have to see it to believe it:

GeliCoon has found himself with about 270,000 followers, and some of his videos have been viewed over 20 million times each. He stuns everyone who sees him: he looks like a stuffed animal, but he's not! He's a real cat, and he's so friendly it's crazy.

Usually, his most viral videos include his sister, whose name and age we don't know, but we do know she's a child and she also happens to be his favorite. He rubs his face on hers often, which is a clear sign that he loves her ! When their faces are side-by-side, you can clearly see that they're basically the same size!

Maine Coons Are Basically Furry Toddlers

When it comes to how big a Maine Coon cat is, people tend to get a little confused ; they either underestimate their size or think they're the biggest domestic cat in the world, neither of which are true.

A full grown male Maine Coon like Geli can easily measure up to 2.5 feet long (sometimes more), and they can break 30 pounds depending on their diet. While it's not the largest cat breed and a lot of their "mass" is actually just fluff, they're nothing to sneeze at. According to growth charts , an "average" 2-year old female is about 25 pounds, and anywhere from 20in-36in tall. If a full-grown Maine Coon wanted to, they could go nose-to-nose with a toddler!

They're not just as big as toddlers, though; they act like them, too. Maine Coons are some of the most curious kitties around, and that comes with a lot of responsibility. You have to be vigilant about making sure they don't knock over everything that isn't nailed down, and if you have cabinets, you might want to consider baby locks. They're trouble makers for sure!
