Having a puppy is always full of funny adventures, and sometimes, all you can do is have a playful laugh at how much they still have to learn.

On June 2, 2024, TikTok user Todd the Golden Retriever (@_toddzilla) shared a video of all the reasons the puppy should have "been arrested," and it's hilarious. Take a look!

In a 30-second video clip , we meet Todd, a Golden Retriever who is still very much just a puppy.

The video, which is the second part in a series, goes over all the reasons the playful puppy should have "been arrested" recently.

"Reasons Todd has been arrested this week," the text on the video reads as we see the cute puppy in his crate.

And the rest of the video lists all the things Todd has "done wrong" this week, with video proof.

This includes Todd "turning into a mountain goat and learning how to climb the couch and his crate, escaping from his car crate, pooping in the gym, and his aggressive behavior towards brushes."

Todd also took off with the toilet paper roll, committed "crimes against towels," and "escaping from fail when we were out."

Each video clip is absolutely hilarious and cute, and it's very much what we've come to expect from a puppy who is still learning about the world.

"demon dog strikes again," the video's caption jokes. And people in the comment section had a good giggle at all of Todd's shenanigans.

"This literally made my day," one person wrote.

"But he’s just a baby," someone else shared. "I have two baby Goldens so I have double trouble I love it because they grow up so fast enjoy now."

"Todd, gotta do these things when the camera is off," another person joked.

Tips on How to Keep Your Puppy Safe

Puppies are a lot like human toddlers in that both can be super curious about everything without having any information on how to keep themselves safe.

If you've got a puppy like Todd, who is always getting into some sort of mini-danger, there are a few things you can do to help keep them safe, according to experts.

The American Kennel Club says the best thing to keep your puppy safe would be to "puppy-proof" your home, like you would for a human toddler.

"Puppies are extremely energetic and curious, so when puppy-proofing your home, you must be thorough," they explain. "It’s amazing what one little puppy can get into. By puppy-proofing, you’re trying to keep the puppy safe and prevent them from getting access to anything dangerous."

Some things you can do include making sure electrical cords are secure and out of the way, keeping all medications and cleaning supplies secure and out of reach, keeping toilet lids closed, putting away choking hazards, securing trash cans, and keeping any sharp items out of the way.
